My Approach

A person performing a dance move on a dark stage illuminated by blue lighting, holding a hat in one hand and balancing on one foot with the other leg extended.

My teaching is rooted in the belief that technique should be a tool for exploration rather than a set of rules to follow. I strive to create classes that challenge dancers physically while encouraging curiosity, individuality, and artistic risk-taking. Whether teaching contemporary, ballet, or improvisation, I aim to help students develop a deeper understanding of their bodies, expand their movement vocabulary, and build confidence in their own creative voice.

Drawing on more than a decade of professional performance, training, and teaching experience, I combine technical rigor with an emphasis on sustainable movement practices. My classes often explore how to move efficiently and expansively, and building new levels of awareness within the body. I encourage dancers to approach movement with both discipline and playfulness, cultivating the versatility needed to thrive in today's dance landscape.

Above all, I believe learning happens best in an environment where dancers feel both challenged and supported. I strive to foster a classroom culture that values growth, collaboration, and discovery, empowering students to take risks, ask questions, and engage fully in the creative process.
