Horse girl (2025)

Commissioned by Resilience Dance Company
Created in Collaboration with the dancers

Horse Girl is a celebration of middle school nostalgia, an exploration of ageing, and an honoring of the people, places, and passions that we must let go of and grow past as we move from one chapter of life to another. Using the contemporary archetype of the horse girl as its anchor, this work explores how our inner child battles with change and processes grief.

‘Horse Girl’ was one of the most refreshing pieces of choreography I’ve seen in a proscenium-esque environment... something squarely within the zeitgeist of contemporary dance.”
